About me

The painted journey

I am deeply inspired by the world around me.  

I love to experience new landscapes and cultures and capture them on canvas.  My love for travel and plain-air painting allows me to capture the beauty of nature and diverse landscapes in real-time.  I immerse myself in the environment to bring the essence of each scene to life on canvas.  My goal is to share the wonder of these fleeting moments through expressive, honest brushstrokes and oil paint.

Everywhere I see beauty.  What you will see on these pages is what caught my eye, what spoke to me deeply; may it be landscapes, people, animals or flowers.  I love it all.

I am also a wife, mother of 4, grandma of 1, staying in Worcester, Western Cape, South Africa.  

I am happiest wandering somewhere in a vast landscape with my backpack and plein air gear.
